Operated by The Education People, we’re proud to offer an extensive range of adventurous courses and activities set against the stunning backdrop of Bewl Water. Whether you're looking to master a new skill or enjoy an unforgettable group experience, our centre provides high-quality, safe, and exciting opportunities for individuals, schools, youth groups, and other organisations.

For individuals, we offer courses in dinghy sailing, windsurfing, powerboating, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, canoeing, and rock climbing—designed for all levels, from complete beginners to aspiring instructors.

For schools and groups, we deliver tailored day and residential programmes that combine adventure, education, and team-building activities. From raft-building and orienteering to our purpose-built challenge course, we’ve got something for everyone. Accommodation is also available, with accessible facilities for up to 48 people, including staff.

As a fully accredited centre, we hold the Royal Yachting Association Training Centre status, British Canoeing approval, AHOEC Gold Standard, Adventuremark, and the LOtC Quality Badge. Paddle Discover - Beginners Canoeing for Juniors

Providing an introduction to the sport of canoeing! You will be introduced to practical and theoretical aspects such as: basic strokes; equipment and safety afloat.

Introduction to Paddling

The Introduction to Paddling course is a fun three hour lesson where you will get a chance to try Stand Up Paddleboarding, Canadian Canoe and sit on top Kayaks.

RYA Youth Windsurfing Stage 2

Learn the practical skills to get you sailing around a course. You will practice tacking and gibing - enabling you to make progression towards and away from the wind.

RYA Youth Windsurfing Stage 1

An ideal introduction to windsurfing - teaching you the basics of getting on the water and sailing the board across the wind and back.

RYA Adult Start Windsurfing

Try our RYA certified course and we'll get you up and going on the board. With qualified instructors guiding you through, you will learn all the practical skills you need to go backwards and forwards.

RYA Adult Advanced Skills

This course is a chance to gain advanced module certification - but to also get on the water in different classes of boat, rig set up and race course to take your sailing to a new level.

RYA Level 1 Adult Sailing

Fancy Learning to sail? Then this is the course for you! You will learn basic boat handling skills and essential background knowledge.

RYA Fast Track Levels 1 & 2

This course will take you from being a complete beginner to the standard of RYA Basic Skills, covering the syllabus of RYA Level 1 Start Sailing and Level 2 Basic Skills.

RYA Level 3 Better Sailing

This Improver course bridges the gap between Level 2 and the advanced modules and should make the transition easier. You will get the opportunity to practice and consolidate your technique.

RYA Seamanship Skills

This two-day course is designed around the RYA Stages 3 syllabus. By the end we hope to have everyone confidently sailing a single-handed dinghy in light wind conditions.

RYA Youth Sailing Stage 4

After the two days of this course we hope to have everyone competently sailing a double handed dinghy in light wind conditions.

RYA Junior Advanced Skills

Summer activities for children on Free School Meals (HAF)

A 4-day holiday programmes during the Summer holidays for children aged 8 - 16 years old that are eligible for Free School Meals. The programme is free for eligible children.

Inset Mini Adventurers

Multi-Activity Holiday Camp for 7 - 14 Year olds. Be prepared to get wet and muddy! Bring a towel and a change of clothes, sturdy trainers, a big lunch and snacks!

Duke of Edinburgh - Open Gold Wild Country Expeditions

We combine your Expedition Training and Practice Expedition into a 5-day programme consisting of 2 days training and a 3-day, 2-night Expedition.
