The Education People are excited to offer participants undertaking their Bronze DofE Award the opportunity to undertake their DofE expedition training and expeditions with us.

What to expect

Our Bronze Expedition Package consists of two events: 

• Training / Practice Expedition
  This will be a two-day event. Participants will spend the first day at the Base campsite undertaking the training required for the expedition section. After camping overnight, participants will complete a full days expedition on day two to prepare them for their Assessed Expedition.
• Assessed Expedition
  This will be a two-day event. Participants will undertake a two-day expedition during which they will be assessed to ensure they meet the conditions of the Bronze Expedition section.
  
  All expeditions will be based in the Ashdown Forest Area and the Expedition base will be Adamswell Scout Campsite, Broom Lane, Langton Green, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN3 9JL.
  
  Timings

We are offering the following dates for both practice and assessed expeditions during 2025:

• 26 - 27 July 2025
• 30 - 31 July 2025
• 18 - 19 August 2025
• 20 - 21 October 2025

Cost

The cost of each event is £100 per participant. Expedition kits are available to borrow at no extra cost.

Please note that these are OPEN expeditions and each event is subject to a minimum number of applications being received.
