I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to abide by the booking conditions as stated.

I confirm that I/the participant am/is physically fit to take part in the activity; confident in water (watersports courses only) and willing to comply with all safety regulations and instructions from Bewl Water Outdoor Centre staff.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday 09.00-17.00. Receipt of a booking form does not constitute acceptance of a booking. Applications are accepted on a first come first served basis. For every course we advertise there are both minimum and maximum numbers of participants. Whilst every effort is made to run each course advertised we reserve the right to cancel when minimum numbers are not reached.If you are booking with friends it is your responsibility to ensure that you are booking on to the same course as them.

Outdoor and adventurous activities, like most things in life, are not completely risk free. Whilst your safety is our first priority and we minimise the risks associated with each activity, it should be understood and accepted that some things are beyond our control and that bruises, bumps and scrapes occasionally happen.

All course participants should be physically able to undertake the activity. Please notify us of any potentially relevant conditions in the space provided and consult with your doctor prior to booking should you have any concerns.

Participants in watersports should be confident in water. Weak/non-swimmers may still be able to participate in waterbased activities but only with prior agreement.

All course members must comply with the instructions of the Centre staff. We expect all participants to respect others and our property. We reserve the right to remove participants immediately from a course, with no refund, should their behaviour not reach our expectations. Junior course participants must be handed over to and collected from their Course Director each day.
Please note that participation on a course does not guarantee passing the award.
For courses that require previous experience it is essential that you notify us of your previous experience. If you start a course and are found not to be at the required standard you may be asked to leave the course. In this situation you would not be entitled to a refund. If you are unsure about your level please telephone before making your booking.

Bewl Water Outdoor Centre and The Education People do not provide any personal accident or cancellation insurance cover, nor do we accept any responsibility for any items lost, stolen or damaged whilst at the Centre.

Bookings in 4 weeks or less are non-transferable.

If you are unable to attend your course notification must be in writing and refunds are given on the following basis:

Less than two weeks: No refund

Between 2 and 4 weeks: 50% refund

More than 4 weeks: Full refund (less £10.00 administration charge)

We strongly recommend that you take out suitable cancellation insurance if you are worried that you may have to cancel less than 4 weeks before the course.

Photographs may be taken during each course for use in our publicity unless you expressly state you do not want this.

How we use your personal Information

We need a variety of information from you so we can safely and efficiently teach you. After the course (assuming all has gone to plan!) we will destroy your details with the exception of your name and the course you took, unless you would like us to keep you informed about future courses and related news. You can ask us to delete your details at any point after your course.
