Basic Camp Leaders Course

The Basic Camp Leader Course is an in-house course for the benefit of those schools signing up to the Kent EVOLVE System. 
The course is one of the courses that staff require to lead DofE Expeditions - the others being a DofE Supervisor Qualification and Outdoor First Aid. Please note the additional requirement for all expeditions to be overseen by somebody with a suitable technical walking qualification.

Venue: Adamswell Scout Campsite, Broom Lane, Langton Green, TN3 9JL
Date: Saturday 14 March 2026
Cost: £100 per delegate.
Times: between 9am and 5pm.

This course will involve working both indoors and outside so delegates should bring appropriate clothing and footwear for the outdoor element.

Please note: Tea and coffee will be provided; however, delegates need to bring food for their lunch that is suitable for cooking on a camp stove, which is NOT non-stick. What they bring will form part of the course content. Stoves, fuel, plates and cutlery will be provided. 

All cancellations less than 8 weeks before the course and ‘no-shows’ will be charged the full cost of the course.
